What to Consider When Buying a Bed
Wood type: Sheesham is the most popular for its rich grain and durability. Teak is the hardest and most expensive. Mango wood is a good mid-range option — strong, with a natural variation in colour.
Size: Standard double beds in India are 6×4 ft. A queen is 6×5 ft and a king is 6×6 ft. Custom sizes (extra length for taller people, for example) are available at no significant extra cost.
Storage: Under-bed drawers add cost but are worth it in smaller rooms. Hydraulic lift storage is also available for those who prefer concealed storage over drawer pulls.
