Fabric vs Leatherette vs Leather
Fabric: Most popular. Wide colour choice, comfortable in all seasons. Can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Some fabrics are more durable than others — ask us about the specific material.
Leatherette (rexine): Looks like leather, lower cost. Wipes clean easily. Tends to crack and peel after 58 years in hot climates — less suitable for rooms with direct sunlight.
Real leather: The most durable and premium option. Develops character over time. Requires occasional conditioning. Higher initial cost but outlasts fabric and leatherette significantly.
