About the Floor-Standing Mandir
The Floor-Standing Mandir is the most significant piece of furniture in a dedicated pooja room. Its full height and domed top create a visual hierarchy that commands the space — this is clearly the spiritual centrepiece of the room, not an afterthought. The domed top is inspired by traditional temple architecture, bringing that sacred geometry into the home.
The carved pillars flanking the idol space are done by hand by our karigars. The carving on sheesham is particularly beautiful — the dense wood holds detail well, and the rich reddish-brown grain adds warmth and depth. Multiple shelf levels allow you to arrange idols, diyas, flowers, and prayer items in the traditional way without crowding.
